How to Play Quotedle
Quotedle is a daily word puzzle where players guess the final five words of a famous quote. Each puzzle presents the beginning of a well-known quotation, and your goal is to complete it using words from the provided word bank.
After each guess, tiles change color to show how close you are to the correct answer. Green means the word is correct and in the correct position. Yellow means the word appears in the quote but in a different position. Gray means the word is not part of the answer.
Strategy Tips
Recognizing writing style can help you identify authors. Pay attention to tone, structure, and common literary patterns. Famous speeches often include rhythmic phrasing, repetition, or powerful closing statements.
If you’re stuck, try identifying the historical context of the quote. Many famous quotes come from political speeches, classic literature, or philosophical works.
Why Play Quotedle?
Quotedle combines the addictive logic of Wordle-style puzzles with the richness of classic literature and historical speeches. It helps improve vocabulary, memory recall, and cultural literacy while remaining simple and fun.
